Lars Jacob, Upland Outfitters’ resident gun expert, wing shooting coach and fly fishing instructor has spent more time in the field, on the water and in the outdoor sporting industry in general than most of us have spent doing, well, anything.

Lars has been a passionate participant in, and advocate for, the sports of shooting - he’s a top competitor and a master gun-fitter. With over 15 years of experience as a wing shooting and fly fishing instructor at the Orvis Co.

Lars has been an avid shooting coach and gun fitter for more than two decades. Not surprising, perhaps, when you consider that his childhood was spent in New Brunswick, Canada, Vermont, and the British Virgin Islands.
